Role of school administration in Developing Creativity in Government schools in Districts Hebron and Bethlehem of Palestine and Its Obstacles As pereceived by school principals

Abstract

This study sought first to identity the role of school administration in developing creativity in government schools in the government of Palestine in Districts Hebron and Bethlehem. Secondaly, the study endeavored to identify the role of the school administration in developing creativity , as perceived by school principals , which may be attributed to variables of sex , academic qualification , years of experience ,undergraduate specialization and place of work. To these two ends, a39- item questionnaire was developed and administered to a sample of 196 male and female principals or 50% of the total population targeted in this study. The questionnaire also included one open – ended questions to identify the role of school administration in developing creativity in these schools and theoretical literature on school administration and creativity.
