The Effect of the Use of Synonyms and Antonyms in Developing Vocabulary in the Lesson of Reading Comprehension for the Second Year Intermediate School Female Pupils

Abstract

current research aims to know the effect of the stylistic contrast in tandem and vocabulary development in material and reading texts with second grade students at the average, the study was conducted in Iraq - the province of Babylon. And adopted an experimental design is partially adjusted for two experimental and control group on according to the experimental method, the research community of students in the second grade average in middle and high school females within the Directorate-General for Education in the province of Babylon, select the researchers composed of three divisions of study sample second grade average in middle school Euphrates girls by two divisions pilot and one officer, noted that the number of students in the experimental group first (29) students and the number of students of the second experimental group (31 students), and the number of students of the control group (28 students), and has the selection process at random for the school and the style and the way in which studying them, researchers rewarded students between the sample and the result was that the groups are statistically equal, the researchers used statistical methods appropriate for their research procedures, namely, (unilateral variation analysis, Pearson correlation coefficient, and Chi-square, and the way Hevah(Search Results showed superiority of experimental groups that Astammelta (stylistic tandem and contrast) and the control group is statistically significant at the level of (0.05).otousel researchers in the light of the research group's conclusions and recommendations and proposals, including the results:1- Contributed tandem approach and contrast to improve the scientific level of the students and helped Theruten linguistic development, and did not Echtsa gifted female students, but the students with low educational level also and this in turn increases the Akabbahin toward learning.2- othbtaat current study that synonymy and stylistic antithesis of effective methods that enable the students to raise curiosity and daring by broadcasting the spirit of competition among them during the lesson.3- hakguet climate researcher descriptive appropriate by making the learning process grainy among female students, and this made them a lesson when fellow with great emotion.
