Evaluate the Effective of Modulation Function on Spot Size For Multifunction modulator

Abstract

Optical modulator is an important component in optical systems. The present opticalmodulator has been designed consisting of three concentric circles (C0, C1, C2). Each circlehas different shape divided to transmittance and oblique sectors, the numbers of sectorschosen are equal to (20, 40, 60) respectively. The central circle was designed using fractalgeometry with a modified program. The efficiency of this optical modulator disk was testedby applying the [MTF]( It is a function that calculate the transferee function for anymodulation , in other hand it is calculation of contrast degree of the an image for any object) ,and the best modulation was at spot light size equal to (2 mm2 ) and it’s effective on themodulation.
