تحليل علاقات التوزيع المكاني للخدمات الطبية الخاصة في مدينة الموصل باستخدام نظم المعلومات الجغرافية (GIS)

Abstract

AbstractThe study investigate the capability of geographic Information systems (GIS) for spatial distribution analysis and determining spatial relationships between special medical services (clinics and pharmacies) and editing the results in form of spatial maps after the analysis of descriptive data. The study aimed at determining the distributional patterns and spatial relationships between these services and the significance of these relationships. The study concluded that a spatial convergence exists between the clinics and pharmacies as the number of pharmacies increase with the number of clinic noting that a spatial redistribution occurs for such services that were previously concentrated in specific locations (Arbill St., Sarchkhana St. and Al Shifa St.) and started to diffuse among the neighborhoods of the city of Mosul but pharmacies remained opening adjacent to clinic.
