The Reception of T. S. Eliot by Arab Critics

Abstract

This paper deals with the Arabic understanding of the English critic T. S. Eliot. Eliot was mainly received by Arab critics as a critic of poetry. He is famous for his formulations on the nature and scope of poetry such as objective correlative and the use of prose language in the poem.
