Abstract

Despite the fact that Akkadian is no longer regarded as a language for communication and writing, as it had been for more than 2 thousand years, still scholar specialized with its grammar pay it a great deal of attention. This fact lies in that this language was rich in information that helped the scholars in this field to make a kind of unification of the rules of Arabits languages to solve their complications.This study sheds light on an important aspect of this language, namely, '' the relative pronoun in the Akkadian language '' this is an attempt to arabize the rules of this language.This study introduces the definition of the relative pronoun, its clause, its order and the antecedent pronoun of the relative pronoun. It also talks about the connection between the noun ,verb and the relative pronoun. Similarly it tackles the omitted relative pronoun in the relative clause, which is one of the most important features of Akkadian that distinguished this language from other Arabits languages in which the relative pronoun is the basic element in the relative clause.
