ABSTRACT Urban Ruralization is one of the phenomena accompanying rapid development in major cities in developing countries on particular . This phenomena is an old one in the city of Mosul but began to flow on the surface specially after the events of 2003 due to the massive immigration from the region of the city as well as other cities . in addition to urban captivism of inclusion which led to increase the expansion of the city which shed lightson this phenornena . The paper studies urban Ruralization in Mosul through the explanation of its Concept ,reasons and Consequences.

ABSTRACT The research aims at defining the effect of using problem solving method in developing inductive thinking and selfeshlessness behavior for third year students/department of geography at the college of basic education in geography for the academic year 2010/2011 the sample consisted of (23) students divided randomly into :experimental group of (11) who used problem solving students strategy and control group of (12)who used the traditional method. The equivalence between both groups was achieved in the following variables :age ,gender, intelligence ,pre.test of inductive thinking and pre.test of selfeshlessness behavior. In order to achieve the aims of the research ,two tools were needed. The two researchers made a test of inductive thinking in geography and passed a panel of experts in education and psychology to extract surface validity of the tool stability was found using kuder-richards on(20)formula reading (0,81)a high stability factor . the final form of the test consisted of (15)items of multiple choice. As for selfeshlessness behavior ,the researchers used the scale made by manh(1995) and was shown to panel of experts in educational psychology and methodologies experts to find its surface validity. Stability was found using re-test (pears on conjunction factor)reaching (0,78)which is good using the appropriate statistical means the results showed statistically significant difference in favor of experimental group who used problem solving method. Abstract This paper is an attempt to investigate and analyze the speech acts of implicit expressives in Shakespearean tragedy ‘Romeo and Juliet’ from the pragmatic point of view with reference to their comprehension in Arabic taking into account that implicit expressives are context bound. The study shades light on the problems: whether speech act theory can be applied to literary texts. Translating English dramatic text involves many difficulties because of the non- existence of the one-to -one correspondence between English dramatic text and the Arabic one . The current study aims at confirming that speech act theory is applicable on the literary texts, setting some felicity conditions to determine whether the act is genuinely performed, indicating how implicit expressive speech acts are realized in Arabic and showing the effective and informative translation used. In order to achieve the aforementioned aims the following hypotheses are suggested: Speech act theory can be applied on the literary texts in the same way as those non-literary, implicit expressives are frequently used in both English and Arabic. There is no one- to - one correspondence between English and Arabic and the intention and the force of the source text can only be rendered if only the translator aware is of the basic characteristics and norms of the implicit expressive speech acts .
