The Impact of the Use of Unorganized Instigation Method on Acquisition of History for the Second Intermediate Students
اثر استعمال اسلوب الاثارة غير المنتظمة في التحصيل لدى طلاب الصف الثاني المتوسط في مادة التاريخ

الخلاصة

The approach commonly used in teaching history is indoctrination and imitation; this approach widens the gap between the teacher and the student: the teacher's role is positive for he explains, illustrates and conveys ideas whereas the student's role is negative for he receives, memorizes, and remembers what has been memorized in the exam. This contradicts what the modern education calls for in activating the student's role in the education process; this requires searching for uncommon, modern teaching methods among which is the unorganized instigation method that helps student overcome the various difficulties they face in learning history such as comprehending the historical events and their explanations and holding comparisons among these events. In this respect, the student has an active role in analyzing and comprehending the historical events which is something that goes with the principles of modern education which focus on the student's role and the use of teaching aids. This method leads to the intended aims because it involves the elements of instigation, motivation, and joy. The current research aims at recognizing (the impact of the use of unorganized instigation method on acquisition of history for the second intermediate students).

Sibawayh's book is considered the first and the last in grammar and morphology for it is a document for the rules of Arabic at which scholars have stopped and to which they have not added. The succeeding scholars have depended on it and just have explained or summarized it. The late scholars have not added to it but a little; Al-Mazni (died 249 Hegira) said, "Anyone trying to compose a book of grammar after Sibawayh should withdraw". Al- Jahidh (died 255 Hegira) said, " People have not written a book like it and all what has been written about it is premature". Ali Al- Najdi explained that Sibawayh's book is "that great monument made by the prominent scholar in the immortality arena to be a timeless and never ending treasure of Arabic and a sign for his efficiency in it, his knowledge of its complex rules, and his pioneership in illustrating its principles in an unmatchable way: comprehensive view, scholarly efficiency, precise analysis, reliable opinion, and valuable judgment".

Teaching of science needs a strategy that presents the content of the scientific material easily and simply considering the individual variations among the pupils, improving their intellectual abilities, and connecting the theoretical side with the practical one. General science addresses reason and improves its abilities and because most laboratories in schools lack the least requirements for success in teaching such as the insufficiency of the lab devices and the very large number of pupils in class. This does not allow the teachers to use labs and forces them to concentrate more on the theoretical side in teaching than the practical side because they are bound to daily and yearly plans to complete the syllabus of the material.

Geographic information systems are considered today a decisive factor in forming the population maps for they are designed in modern developed methods. The map is regarded as an active way to represent the geographic phenomena whether natural or human for no study is to be successful unless it is supported by maps and diagrams designed according to sound scientific, arithmetic, and technical bases being made by whether classic methods or geographic information systems. Hence, the cartographer must have a precise artistic, scientific taste when producing maps. The population maps have an importance in the economic and social planning for there are some recent factors that help improve the population maps resulting from the development in geographic information systems programs, the computer systems, and the cartographic and sensorial techniques that are capable of analyzing the statistic data automatically. Accordingly, it has become a must to focus on the role of the population map in illustrating the relationships and variables found in the statistic, population values by the ability of the statistic maps to connect the population elements and their relationships and variables concerning the geographic spatial locations

The spread of education in the various countries has become a basic criterion for their cultural and social progress. Countries compete to achieve supremacy in the scientific and technical fields because the belief in science leads to attainment of thinking basics. This means a necessary change in human to transcend to higher levels described as (scientific). It is not surprising to find serious attempts to improve the educational systems in various parts of the world and re-examine their curricula and methods of teaching depending on modern scientific basics to achieve the intended progress. In spite of the important progress in the field of knowledge in student's learning and the great deal of time, effort and money invested, our schools have not genuinely got close to the goal of increasing the students' learning. This is because they depend on the gradual systems that present a unified learning at the same time without considering the speed of a student's learning which needs a specific educational aid that helps him overcome his difficulties in learning

Education is considered the essential element in the progress of societies so it has been the focus of interest for the nations which have prepared for it all the possible requirements to improve and develop. The preparatory education has a special interest for the nations and their educationalists for its role in forming the learner's personality particularly the fifth stage. This is because it represents the teenage that is characterized by some physiological changes which require the specialists to increase attention to it and decrease the intellectual pressure. Curriculum designers take this point into consideration to decrease the amount of the materials to be more suitable to the students' aspirations and their various abilities. Educationalists affirm that the education process is not merely a transfer of knowledge to learners but a process that focuses on the growth of the learner intellectually, emotionally, and skillfully to perfect his personality in various aspects. Hence, the basic task is to teach students how to think and learn, not how to memorize words and scholastic books by heart without comprehending and applying them in life

The cultural invasion to minds is the most intensive thing which nations are facing in the world today which is full of various currents that try to form the personalities of the individuals and their beliefs according to certain frames to achieve the goals of the invaders who attempt to blur the Arab thought, language, and heritage. By examining the studies that have dealt with teaching methods, the researcher has realized the scarcity of studies that depend on teaching methods originated from the roots of this ancient nation, particularly teaching methods of Arabic. The method is represented by a speech by the Master of the Faithful, Ali (pbuh) instructing generations to comprehend the past, present, and future correctly depending on sound basics in thinking and applying them in the practical field. This is because thinking is necessary to progress in all aspects among which is literature whose teaching has witnessed a noticeable decline in recent decades. Dr. Taha Hussein thinks that "what is taught in schools is a distorted thing they call literature but it is not; it is a speech collected and the memory is forced to comprehend and is ready to vomit when it may". If we ask about the difficulty and the reason why students do not like literature which is supposed to be one of the most joyful subjects of Arabic, the answer would be: because students cannot comprehend the text thoughtfully and analyze it thoroughly

Divorce is a social problem that stems from the failure of the couple in compatibility, understanding, and co-living even in the lowest limits under one roof called the family. Its consequences are serious among which are failure of marriage, family and essential relationships of the society. Divorce is the cost of the undesirable marriage and is considered the opposite of it. It is known from the beginning of the human society that recognizes marriage as a start to form a family whereas divorce is the end of the unsuccessful marital life. All the ancient world and nations know divorce even before the heavenly legislations. Many researchers think that Babylonian Hammurabi (1810-1750 BC) is the most famous and ancient legislator in history for its legislation contained divorce stating that the husband had the right to divorce his wife if she was barren; the wife had also the right to be constantly separated from her husband if she hated him after resorting to law. If the husband committed a serious misbehaviour, the woman returned to her father's house after taking her possessions

At the end of his book, Al-Mulooki Derivation, Ibn Jinni put some of the rules and laws he said to be useful in derivation. They were explained by both Al-Thamaneeni in his book, Derivation's Explanation, and Ibn Ya'eesh in his book, Explanation of Al-Mulooki Derivation. Dr. Abdel Illah Nebhan justified the reason why Ibn Jinni had put these laws mentioning that he did not want to leave Al-Mulooki Derivation so short so he added some laws and rules to be useful in derivation. These laws are scattered in his great book, Properties, and in their places in his book, The Unbiased. They are frequently mentioned in the books of his teacher Ibn Ali Al-Farisi. But their collection in this way in an educational, scholastic book is considered a very useful work. It is noticeable that Ibn Jinni did not give these laws certain titles but began each one with the word (law). This way was followed by Al-Thamaneeni whereas Ibn Ya'eesh gave them titles explaining their contents.

Psychologists remark that there are critical and sensitive periods in child's growth through which patterns of behaviour can be taught. During these periods, there are certain environmental interactions to make the child grow naturally; at the beginning of the interaction, there might be a large number of responses to his environment. What remains of the responses should be strengthened and what vanishes should not. In his early stages, the child, like the elders, may suffer from psychological disorders and behavioural and emotional deviations. The child's physical, emotional, and psychological growth is a continuous, intensifying process influenced by factors of physical environment and social family. (Al-Adhmawi, 1988, 251) The problem of the research is related to the family because it is the first social institution and the first constructor to the child's personality and his behaviour in society

There are a lot of difficulties when Arabic is taught in all academic levels because the students suffer from a difficulty in understanding grammar, rhetoric, criticism, and literary texts. The teachers complain of the students' academic decline. Hence, Arabic has got a great attention from its specialists and native speakers in the past and present. This attention is reflected in the effort exerted to improve its methods of teaching, curricula, and programs. Yet, Arabic is still characterized by difficulty and complexity. Prosody is not a way from this field of difficulty. Specialists and the ones interested in Arabic inquire why Arabic suffers from cognitive recession in response to these challenges? And why studies are restricted to a certain aspect away from prosody? In addition, the postgraduate students are reluctant to study it. Critics, specialists, and researchers have specified the difficulty in prosody which has not started in the modern time but found in old periods. Al-Samarra'i said, "Prosody is one of Arabic branches from which the one interested in suffers its comprehension for it is very difficult and hard, and is considered by some to be tough

Forced migration is considered one of the dangerous problems which the Iraqi society faces. Its danger lies in its continuity so the government is required to make a successful strategy to face it. The problem has started after 2003 following the entry of the American forces to Iraq and the conflicts between the armed militias and the American forces resulting in destruction of numerous houses with many casualties forcing some families to leave their houses. But the exodus that followed the bombing of the Shi'ite two shrines in Samara in 18.2.2006 had a great importance because it was followed by a sectarian war the country had never witnessed before resulting in economic, social, and political consequences which are hard to solve in a short period. Hence, the research studies the forced interior migration among the country's governorates and the number of the families migrating from their residences to other safer places. The data are restricted to (15) governorates except Kurdistan Province for the unavailability of its data

Parallelism is defined as a linguistic pattern which involves purposeful repetition on the lexical, syntactic, and semantic levels. The theoretical part of this study shows that parallelism is, on one hand, a linguistic rule the departure of which may lead to ungrammatical, illogical or ambiguous English sentences, and it is , on the other hand, a stylistic foregrounding feature that enables the writers in general and the foreign language learners in particular to highlight , emphasize ,and intensify their messages. The practical part of this study investigates the Iraqi EFL learners' ability to employ parallelism in producing English sentences which are syntactically correct and semantically acceptable. It also investigates the learners' ability to emphasize and intensify their messages through the use of parallel structures. The study comes up with the conclusion that the subjects' errors can be attributed to the teaching context, as well as to the negative interference of the mother tongue. It is also concluded that teaching parallelism through analyzing its forms and functions in the English sentence can positively affect the learners' performance.

Memorizing dialogues referring to different situations will not be of much benefit for those who wish to engage in such conversations as they are context bound, negotiative, interpersonal and constantly changing. This needs more effort on the part of both teachers and students as finding out efficient ways for teaching conversation. Foreign language learning has always been a great concern not only for teachers but also for students who are looking forward to speak the foreign language in a good way

In many cases, the two forms are equivalent in meaning and are both perfectly acceptable, in other cases either the ’s-genitive or the of-construction is the only appropriate choice regarding the factors affecting the best choice

The problem culminates so teachers call for simplifying the grammatical subjects. Weakness in grammar is traceable wherever teaching Arabic is practiced. Students' weakness moves up from one stage to the other. The problem does not lie in the quantity of grammatical information given to the students throughout their academic studies, but in comprehension of this information reflecting it in correct linguistic behaviour. Hence, the linguistic errors spread, students' acquisition decreases, and grammar is away from its function. Grammatical rules have become frames to be memorized by the student without their practical use in life
