This paper highlights the Pragmatic studies in all fields of knowledge including plastic field the sudience memory in the modern ideology depends on the cognitive and mental pragmatic approach in symbolism and conclusion to control the meanings recognized by creativity processes and modernalize then from content to another. In the light of this strong relationship between the theses of forming modernism and what comes after it in the modern visual discourse in Iraq and the pragmatic phenomenon to adopt communication we have chosen this sample to Find some sorts of similarities in the plastic scence .This paper consists of four chapters . The first chapter deals with the methodology of the study represented by its problem , Value and aims during the period (1950-2000) in Iraq . The second chapter is concerned with the theoretical part which consist of the first one of which presents the major themes of pragmatics linguistically and communicatively . The second section presents some aspects in the modern plastic discover in Iraq . The third chapter includes the procedures of the study including it sample as seven picture patterns of the modern plastic productions in Iraq in addition to dada analysis .The Fourth chapter presents the most important condusions arrived at which are: 1) The pragmatics of the modern plastic contributes to the principle of communication and closeness between the artist and the artistic work and the audience which all produce this interference and agreement. 2) The Iraq artist uses the metaphore aesthetics which reframes its artistic sceuces a lout the content of the data a cconding to their communicative requirements .

The Arabic calligraphy important tributary of the Arab and Islamic art, was what prompted artists Arabs characters during the forties of the twentieth century after openness and access to international artists experiences in different trends and currents of international art movements, which emerged quite a few Arab artists in the direction of Arabic calligraphy stream, Researcher arose after extensive study by choosing two well-known artists and pioneers, who have long experience in the field formations calligraphy in contemporary figurative painting two artists (Jamil Hamoudi of Iraq - and Sami Burhaan of Syria) sample his research. He held a comparison between these two plates artists in terms of formations calligraphy for them, and the results were as follows: 1. Influenced by these two artists, craftsmen international art schools (Abstract- Cubism- Surrealism) being the expatriates lived a long time in the land of Europe. 2. Whose interaction the Arab-Muslim heritage and Reflection on contemporary figurative paintings for them through their use of Arabic letters and formations of philosophical and spiritual reading the artist Sami proof, and the significance of graphical symbols of cultural, religious and social Jamil Hamoudi the artist. 3. Calligraphy are all formations for them to read, balance and symmetry, sovereignty and harmony.

Islamic creed decided the cognitional bases held on the logic of Islamic belief that gives to the method the applicable credibility for the truth of Islam entirely …since the abstraction in the art is one of the stuck elements of Islamic art, there is no way to give away from following the truth of this concept in Islamic creed and the major incubator for it, and discovering its belief form in Islamic intellect, which is specified with the belief forms of the renewal notion since its beginning in Islam and its perpetual consistency in it through showing the following sections: First section: Attitude of heaven religions opposite to Islam. Second section: Bases of Islamic Conception. Third section: Role of Islamic Creed in the construction of Islamic art. This study has come up with the following conclusions : The major structures of abstraction is composed up to the following : 1- The humanitarian instinct of human beings are equaled in all people., the builder of ancient cultures had the same instinct humanitarian readiness … since the instinct is uniting one, then the abstraction by concepts and shapes are compatible with the nature of instinct, so the monotheism is a major principle for the abstraction concept. 2- Complying with orders and taboos i.e. by the legislative willing we can sustain the instinct of human then the prohibition for diagnosing will be concentrated for abstractions techniques only. 3- Moderate and balancing between the both spiritual and materialists ides. 4- Stimulation of God peculiarities that guided to the beauty. Finally , the list of references was in the end.

The present study addressed the role of the corresponding theatrical designer in the success of the work of filmmaker theater, where this role contribute in the change and connect the visions of the author and the director and their intellectual visions, artistic and technical to the recipient as well as they clearly contribute to draw public attention to the events of the play and interact with them and then emotion He did when it gets focus. In the sense that when there is a well-designed theater be successful. Where the study contains four chapters included the first chapter on the methodological framework for research and included the research problem and confirmed its importance on the role of the views designer of the play in the theater, as well as the goal of the research and identify some of the search terms. While the second chapter contains the theoretical framework, which included scenes drama and directing the process of the evolution of theatrical history. And through chapter III, which contained the research procedures, which included research method and stages of work and specifications theatrical landscape designer. While the fourth quarter included the results including: theatrical landscape designer in the design dependence on two important exporters: the text and theatrical director directorial plan. The search is over with a set of conclusions and proposals, finally installed the sources.

The current research dealt with (The sensory and imaginary in the Superrealism art) and aimed to discover the cognitional, sensory and imaginary mechanism of Superrealism art as this art has a cognitional privacy dropped shadow on the virtual treatments within a distinguished style was not familiar for other modern and postmodern movements. So the reasons of the research came up to the following question : What is the mechanism of the sensory and imaginary in the Superrealism art and how were objects embodied through this mechanism In the time period since (1982 -2013)? Second chapter , the theoretical frame, consists of two sections, first one dealt with intellectual and conceptual parameters in the sensory and imaginary in the modern philosophy and its modification in post –modernity intellect and exposing most important concepts of post-modernity that infect on community and art. Second section dealt with sensory and imaginary in the modern art as it correlated with affecting on the art of post-modernity, then showed the movements of post-modernity period within the limits of the research. Third chapter was specialized with studying the sensory and imaginary in the Superrealism art . The two chapters (first and second) resulted in the following most important results: • The Superrealism art was characterized with showing most tiny features of the view more than the eye or camera can pick up and that was so extraordinary for any other artist movements included with the reality movements. • The Superrealism artist intended to take out the visual shapes from its sensory space to imaginary through employing the sensory objects with new relations and direct the work to be shocking effect upon the spectacular and feeling of astonishing amazing feeling and bizarre, that was main reason to call the Superrealism with extravagant and magician (unreality).

the concept of hypothetical as well as forced existence of an individual is based on the fact that the latter is in an open struggle with his fellow beings taking into consideration the intellectual, the social, the political and the economic factors.These struggles and this chaos, which took place in different civilizations at different periods, affected several fields such as drama. This study, therefore, attempts to disclose the impact wrought upon the dramatic character. The pages of this research included and identified the research problem within a methodological framework, this problem resided in the following question: “Can you study the character in the theater of the absurd according to the psychological dimension by adopting it as a basic reference ?”. Whereas the research objectives identified the study of the psychological dimension which dominated the structural properties and humanitarian cases because of each character had coefficients and looking for purposes which were accomplished by their received ideas . However, the data of the theoretical framework were in two units. First unit explained the character in the theater world according to the psychological dimension by explaining the psychological shifts that occurred in the theater world . Meanwhile, the second unit disclosed a study of character in the theater of the absurd according to its psychological dimension and its dominance on theater then the researcher displayed the results of the theoretical framework. While, in the research procedures, she chose intentional samples to be matched with the context of the research. Then she displayed the results and their discussions and finally she typed down the references list .

This study entitled “The intellectual dimensions of terrorism and their implications on the contemporary Iraqi painting” consist of four chapters. The first chapter consists of the methodological framework which includes the problem of the study which ends with the question: what are the intellectual dimensions of terrorism and what are its negative implications on the artist and his vision to his works within these dimensions. This study explores the negative implications of terrorism and their role on the intellectual stand of the artist as a control reference which he adopts to represent the aggressions against victims and society and to cast this in a plastic discourse which is unique in its topic and style to invigorate its aesthetic stance to confront terrorism. The objective of the study is to explore the intellectual dimensions of terrorism and its implications on the contemporary Iraqi painting. The second chapter deals with the theoretical framework and consists of three topics: the first topic deals with the intellectual dimensions of terrorism and its implications on the three divine religions- Judaism, Christianity and Islam. The second topic discusses the problems about the concept of terrorism; and the third topics involves with the approaches to terrorism images and its implications on art. The chapter ends with the theoretical frame indicators. The third chapter tackles with study procedures, and it consists of study sample and study population. The study has five samples and the study approach which is based on the descriptive analysis and study tool which is the form of content analysis. Chapter four deals with the results, conclusions, recommendations and suggestions. Among the most important results are: The aesthetic and artistic dimensions are shown as intellectual dimensions of terrorism through the resort of the artist to diverse methods that depends on realism and abstract, and the use of expressionism, symbolism as values for the plastic elements and to give a dense meaning for the phenomenon of terrorism. The symbol use of terrorism is shown through the color in all samples which sometime becomes pale as in sample 4 and 5, and sometimes becomes enriched and in sample 1, 2, and 3. It is sometimes coupled with contemporary and traditional symbols as in sample 1, 2, and 5, or through combining more than one method in paint as in sample 5, or invigorating the expressionist curve on lines and colors as in sample 3. The psychological dimension is invested as an intellectual dimension for terrorism through the selection of the subject of terrorism which causes negative psychological implications in the artist himself through the feeling of fear from death, and his concern about future and the feeling of alienation and threat, as in samples 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5, and the reflection of this on the figures and shapes of the paint. Chapter conclusions also included, such as: Any artist can not enjoy and feel morally innate humanity that ignores a private terrorist practices after a global phenomenon that has become possible affect any individual in any time and place. The fourth quarter also included on the recommendations and suggestions and proposals as follows:Study representations terrorism in contemporary Iraqi drawing. The study ends with, a list of references, figures, annexes .

The research consists of four chapters; the first deals with the methodology which is centralized in the problem of the research represented by the following enquiry: “What are the reasons and motivations which have made the international textual product national after being borrowed and edited and whether the editor and the theatrical director have been able to leave the international atmosphere into the national one. The importance of the research is to identify a converting technique of the international theatrical text between the values of borrowing and editing and a directing treatment. The second chapter is to identify the conversion of the international theatrical text borrowed andedited in the first section which has adapted the world of the editor and his society, time, and place as well as the important stages of editing. The second section deals with the technique working on the theatrical text which is borrowed and edited to be directed, i.e., how to elucidate the text creatively and the best choice for the method and style and how the director deals with it. The third chapter revolves around the procedures of the research beginning with the society that is (16) plays, the sample of the research that is (2) plays.It also contains the method of the research, the tool, and the analysis of the samples. The fourth chapter provides the results, the most important of which are: 1. Editing works on defeating the expectancy of the recipient for the international text; this achieves surprise and compatibility with reality. 2. The borrower and editor leaves out scenes and characters to be compatible with the cultural values. 3. The director and the editor share the final experience because the text of the editor or the borrower goes hand in hand with the text of the director (the performance); it is a departing and connecting point to both texts (editing, borrowing – direction). The fourth chapter also comprises the conclusions, the recommendations, the suggestions, and the bibliography.

Methods of teaching are a field of invention and innovation. Its directions cannot be predicted unless we carry out experiments and field work in probing its results. Hence, and endeavouring to change the routine way in teaching and to search for novel educational ways leading probably to methods reducing time or effort, or enhancing the learner’s datum-stability, and agreeing with the attitudes of the educational institutions attempting to harmonize with the zeitgeist which is permanently renewable, changeable, and moveable, the researcher attempts to investigate the use of the method of Brainstorming in teaching Islamic ornamentation, a method which influences the learners’ understanding, memory and innovation. Thus, and in line with the research methodology, the researcher divides his research into four chapters. The first chapter discusses the problem of developing the learner’s ability to draw the decorative shapes according to the method of brainstorming. The researcher does this experiment which its results, as those of other earnest experiments, are hidden at the beginning. He endeavours during a complete semester to achieve the aim of the research which is knowing the range of validity of the method of brainstorming in developing the ability of learners to draw decorative shapes. The objective limits of the research are engineering shapes representing a hidden basis in designing Islamic ornamentation. Its spatial limits are second stage learners/Department of Art Education/Faculty of Education/University of Kufa. The temporal limit is the academic year (2010-2011). The second chapter handles the theoretical side. In it, the researcher deals with the literature of Islamic ornamentation, brainstorming and its features and characteristics, and how to execute brainstorm306 ing session, its application steps and brainstorming supervisor’s or leader’s supposed state.Brainstorming is a method of presenting a subject in a form of a question stimulating learners’ incentive to present suggestions to solve it in a way similar to free association in the school of psychoanalysis via liberating learners to show their opinions one by one, preventing interruption, objection or discussion when the learner goes on elaborating on his opinions, and hindering the group of learners from rejecting them even if they are unreal and non-executable. This is to enable learners to empty their suggestions to solve the problem synchronizing with recording them. Later, the role of isolation comes to sift the suitable ones from the unsuitable ones. Then, good solutions are developed to choose the fittest to be the optimal solution agreed upon by the learners and their teacher. All this is arranged and planned by the teacher so as to fulfill the aims of the subject which demand a complete knowledge of the standards of executing the method of brainstorming in teaching. In the experiment, the teacher of Islamic ornamentation is the researcher. After considering the theoretical side, the researcher inspects four previous studies dealing with similar subjects. But these studies concentrate on theoretical fields in non-mixed educational environments, i.e., non-coeducation environments.In chapter three, the researcher, via mathematical statistics, specifies the research society. They are (57) male and female learners. Fifty six of them represent the research sample which consists of two groups. The experimental group is composed of (21) female learners and (7) male ones. Their total number is (28). They are taught by the method of brainstorming. The control group includes (22) female learners and (6) male ones. Their total is (28). The ordinary lecture method is used in teaching them. The two groups are matched in age, sex, learning, and materials needed in the practical accomplishment of ornaments. In conformity with research requirements, the researcher depends on the experimental methodology using statistical means such as arithmetic mean, standard deviation, degree of freedom, and T-test. In chapter four, the researcher registers his experiment results. The most important result is the possibility to apply the method of brainstorming in teaching the subject of Islamic ornamentation. Also, it is possible to follow the traditional way in teaching without any variation coefficient between the two methods. We can also rely on brainstorming in teaching practical subjects whereas previous studies focus on studying theoretical subjects only, use brainstorming just to break the monotony of the ordinary lecture, make the group of learners do most of the learning of the subject of Islamic ornamentation and restrict the role of the teacher to coordinating the process of learning rather than being a sinew of it. In this connection, the researcher notices that the learners in the experimental group are more stimulated than those in the control group, that is, they are more interacted by renovation growing their motives in spite of the constancy of the outputs. The researcher concludes that there is no crucial factor in novelty. The outputs of the two methods are not different as concerns the subject under research. The experiment indicates that there is no difference between the traditional teaching method (lecturing) and the modern method of brainstorming. It is inferred that Islamic ornamentation is old in its emergence and has the ability to develop and renew in accordance with the spirit of the times and without any difference in its content where it conforms to the new teaching method as well as the old one with no lagging.The researcher suggests the study of the effect of brainstorming method in teaching square Kufi calligraphy.

The theatrical text is regarded as one of the literary genres that have a direct impact on the social cultural, reality in the sense that it is characterized with a clear tendency to acquire knowledge as well as a focus on individual experience which forms the relation of Man with his psychological status as it is his core and soul. The research paper entitled (The psychological dimension of Jabbar Sabri’s theatrical characters) aimed to study the psychological changes that the dramatist’s character underwent throughout his intellectual life along with its presence in his plays. The research is consisted of four main chapters: The first chapter contains the problem of the research which focuses on the following question: what is the psychological dimension of Jabbar Sabri’s characters in the play? It also sheds the light on the schools of drama in general considering them as the main source for creating a series of events that we can visualize through the actions of a particular character because this research is basically useful for the scholars in the artistic and dramatic sphere, especially to the dramatist to analyze the dramatists’ figures in the light of their psychological dimension. It also helps the dramatist acknowledge the motives for the characters’ actions taking into consideration their psychological analysis as well as specifying the goal that centered on distinguishing the psyche of Sabri’s characters. The spatial limits (Iraq- Basra), temporal limits (The theatrical texts released between the period 1983- 2006), topic of the research (The study of the psychological dimension of Sabri’s theatrical characters) are mentioned. Besides, the diction and terminology are also stated in the research. Chapter two (The notional frame) is consisted of two main studies in addition to stating the outcomes which result from the theoretical hereabouts. In the first study the scholar deals with the psychological dimension of the characters. The second chapter deals with intellectual sources of the dramatist in question, whereas the third chapter is limited to the research procedures in the sense that it states the research community as consisted of (9) theatrical texts. Those are written down by Jabbar Sabri Al- Attiya out of which I concluded the research sample (An unresolved case). The researcher uses the descriptive procedure in the analysis of the sample as the nature of the existing study demands. The research ends up illustrating the results that come out of the sample study along with the conclusions, recommendations and suggestions in Chapter (4). After that, the list of references follows. The results of the sample studying are briefed as below: 1.The psychological dimension of the characters in (An unresolved case) namely the visitor, the chemist, and the ghost contrast according to the cultural as well as social background of each and every character. 2.Sabri Al- Attiya uses the symbol (He) to (The visitor), (I) to (The chemist), and (The ego) to (The ghost). 3.The ideal level of the ghost clearly prevails throughout his conversations that center on law- abiding as the dramatist having very high self- esteem and morals. 4. The realistic level is obviously stated down in the character of (The chemist). The dramatist sheds light on the other bright side of society that the patient (The visitor) is supposed to see in order to get rid of his desolation, isolation and breakup with his society. The conclusions can be listed as follows: 1. Al- Attiya uses the psychological contrast which he formulates in a dramatic frame (dramatic struggle) between the psychological powers of his theatrical characters as an entrance to read and introduce his political as well as critical vision to the Iraqi people and society. This is in fact an indirect procedure to fight back the regime at that time. 2. One can trace the emergence of criticism in Al- Attiya’s theoretical texts which he committed himself to criticize the circumstances. The author succeeded in concealing his criticism behind the plot of his drama and the smart way of putting it down.
