THE EFFECT OF MAGNETICALLY TREATED WATER ON THE PERFORMANCE, AND PHYSIOLOGICAL SYSTEM IN FAW-BRO BROILER

Abstract

This study was conducted at poultry farm/ Department of Animal Genetic in Ministry of Science and Technology over a period from 20/6/2004to 20/8/2004 to study the effect of magnetic treated water on performance and some physiological characteristics in Faw-bro broiler. Two hundred and forty of broiler chicken, Aged one day chicken (Faw-bro breed) were divided randomly into four treatments (400, 600, 800) Gaus, and controlled treatment. Bird and feed were weighted periodically after 4 weeks and 8 weeks to determined average live weight, weight gain, feed conversion ratio and mortality percentage. The effect of magnetic technology of water on Physiological traits in broiler was also studied. The results showed A significant (p 0.05) Increase in the body weight, weight gain, as well as, feed conversion was improved, The results indicated a significance (P  0.05) increase in total red blood cell (RBC), hemoglobin concentration, packed cell volume, total white blood cells and thrombocytes. Magnetic treated water showed a significant reduction in uric acid, creatinine and cholesterol in plasma, the results also showed significant increasment in total protein. It can be concluded that magnetic treated water with 600, 800 Gaus is agood technique to increase body weight, and improved feed conversion, Blood traits in faw- bro broiler.
