Simulate the loss of energy in the X-ray in the magnesium and silicon

Abstract

This paper includes the study of X-rays to simulate a range of energies (E = 5.5, 7,8,17.5,22.5) KeV in the elements (Mg, Si) and with different thickness., And compared the results obtained with the program (XCOM). Was calculated linear attenuation coefficients and mass of the linear relationship between the logarithm ( ln ), and the thickness chosen for the elements. Calculated and also all of the electronic density and the cross-sectional area of atomic materials mentioned above, Present research results they are compatible with the results computed within the program (XCOM).
