Abstract

The objective of this research was to identify the satisfaction level of Wheat seeds producers on services supply to them and finding out the relationships between satisfaction level of seeds producers and some variables. The population studied consisted of all Wheat seeds producers (41 producers) from all locations, distributed in six locations which are: Al-Mishkhab (25), Al-Abbasiya (1), Hera (1), Qadisiya (10), Hurriya (3), and Najaf center (1).. In order to achieve the objective of the research, a questionnaire form was prepared to collect data from respondents by personal interview method. To achieve the research goal, a five fold scale has been used. The highest score on the scale was 132 degrees, whereas the lowest score was 84 degrees, this was on a scale (36 - 180). The scale involved 36 items with an arithmetic average of (98.17) degrees, and a standard deviation of (12.12). The result showed that the the highest satisfaction percentage were obtained by respondents occurred within the middle category (92.68 %), whereas the lowest satisfaction percentage it occurred within the high category (zero %). We can conclud from this result that the majority of the respondents have a middle satisfaction on services supply to them. Also the results research showed that the positive correlation between the satisfaction level with age, education levels, and years number of sowing experience, but it did not rise to the level of significant, except for the relationship with the years number of participation in agricultural extension activities, which was a positive significant. On the basis of the above findings, the researcher recommends: intensify of symposium holding in the cultivation and production to improved seeds of wheat, limitation contracted with seed producers of highly experienced, cooperation and coordination between the relevant authorities in the process to improve seed production, work on the development of infrastructure for the purification factories and storage in seed production companies, and raise the financial allocations for the production of seed companies.
