Effect of Spraying With High Potash Fertilizer Miller and Agroleaf in Some Vegetative Growth Characters and Yield of Fennel Foeniculum vulgare Mill.

Abstract

A field experiment was conducted at researcher station of horticulture dept. & landscape Agriculture college / Tikrit university . during the season 2013-2014 to study spraying effect of high potash fertilization (miller) & agroleaf spraying on some vegetative growth . and yield of fennel Foeniculum vulgare Mill. The experiment was designed as R.C.B.D. . including six factorial treatment which was the interaction between three levels of spraying with high potassium (miller) (without spraying . 250gm.100L-1. 400gm.100L-1 ) and two levels of agroleaf (without addition . 400gm.100L-1 ) with three replicates results were analyzed by using variance analysis and means were compared using Duncan test at 5% level . the important results were : high potash fertilizer level 400gm.100L-1 . spraying with agroleaf second level 400gm.100L-1 . gave highest results ( 77.5cm.plant-1 . 10.66 branch.plant-1 . 43.83 inflorecence.plant-1 . 10 flower. Inflorescence-1 . 130.2 kg.hactare-1 ) and (75.16 cm.plant-1 . 11.11 branch.plant-1 . 42.2 inflorecence.plant-1 . 10.4 flower. Inflorescence-1 . 166.4 kg.hactare-1 ) compared with control for vegetative growth characters & yield ( plant height . branches number . inflorescence number . indivd flowers . number total yield ) while the interaction spraying with miller (400gm.100L-1+agroleaf 400gm.100L-1) higher results in all vegetative growth characters and yield(85.1 cm.plant-1 . 13 branch.plant-1 . 54.33 inflorecence.plant-1 . 13 flower.
