Abstract

A fourteen areas supplied by water from water pumping station in Samarra were chosen to investigate the quality of the water delivered. The parameter employed includes; temperature of water, pH, dissolved oxygen, total hardness, Calcium and Magnesium hardness Chloride, alkalinity and phosphate as well as the presence of E. coli. The result showed a clear variation in the different areas supplied by the pumping station. The presence of E coli detected only in three areas of city of b Samarra.
