Abstract

Deterioration of the trade and lower tax revenues in Iran during the reign of Shah Sultan HusseinPhd.Samera A. Abd Allah Al-Ani & phd.Nahla N. AbdaliBaghdad university/College of education(Abstract) The weakness of the central rule at the reign of Shah Sultan Hussain who is regarded as the last Shah who governed the Safawi state near to its falling at the hold of Afghan in 1722 which is the main and the real factor for the economic collapse. The tribes of trade have faced stealing and robbery actions which have been compressed to a very big extent. This action was not the responsibility of Shah alone, but the duty of governors and rulers to prepare the affairs of safety for the growth of the trade. In addition to the pressure of customs which is enforced by the rulers of cantons and cities. Thus they enforced the customs which oppressed the population to cause the farmers and outskirts migrations to cities which caused the reduction of agricultural incomes and the reduction of the salaries of the employees.
