The Semiotics of mercy in the acts of Prophet Muhammad

Abstract

This research is intended to identify the semiotics of mercy in the acts of the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, trying to reveal the implications, because of its great importance. He is a mercy to the whole world, for Allah has given him a merciful heart. He is kind and gracious to all creatures. He does not discriminate in dealings between the believer and the unbeliever, so that his biography has impressed his friends and foes and made poets remember him with great merits and qualities. The search displays the semiotics and implications of mercy that have emerged through the Prophet Mohammed's dealing in a solemn manner with the people leading to bringing to us tremendous ways of dealing with others. Even in the most difficult situations he faced he reached the perfect human summit, whether in the Quran, or ancient and modern Arabic poetry. In the end, the research confirms that the life of the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, is full of mercy and blessings, and that if mercy dwells in the heart it embraces a sense of benevolence, compassion and concern for the benefit of others.
