The Effect of Using Concept Maps in Learning and Acquiring the Skills of Arabian and Hand Backward Jump in Men Floor Artistic Gymnastics

Abstract

The study problem lies in using traditional methods in teaching and training in most elementary schools. This leads to the student’s receive of information and memorizing it without understanding or comprehension. The significance of the study lies in using concept maps as an aid to represent the relations between thoughts, images, and different words. Those maps are used in the areas of teaching, planning, summarizing, evaluation of study material, assessing the student’s comprehension, as well as assessing the student ability to memorize previous concepts. The study also included the field procedures, the study sample and community, the main experiment, and statistical devices. The last section was devoted to the results, their analysis and discussion.
