Abstract

The study to estimate the genetic and phenotypic correlations for soybean characters (plant height,frist pod height, number of branches/plant, number of pods/plant, number of seeds/pod, pod length, 100 seed weight and seed yield) and divide correlations to direct and indirect effects, Three distances plant were used between the lines (40, 50 and 60) cm for three Genotypes (Iman, Taqa and Lee74) by Randomized Complete block Design with three replecation, The analysis for path coefficient analysis and correlations at each distance plant. The results showed the highest direct effect at 40 cm for the number of branches with seed yield on average of 1.151 At 50 cm dictance plant for the weight of 100 seeds with seed yield of 0, 9987 and 60 cm dictance plant for the height of first pod with seed yield to 1.7671 where correlations were all negative with seed yield at 40 cm distance plant, the 50 cm distance plant, was the highest positive genetic correlation of the height of first pod with seed yield of 0.801 and highest positive phenotypic of the number of pods/plant with seed yield of 1.587 and 60 cm distance plant was the highest positive genetic correlation for pod length with seed yield at 0.694.
