Abstract

The study aims to identify the scenes of the inscription inscribed on cylindrical seals from the ancient Babylonian period as one of the archaeological sources for the study of the history and civilization of Mesopotamia and its important role in providing comprehensive information on various aspects of religious life. The seals show many aspects of Mesopotamia, It was characterized by the religious aspect, which represents the representation of the god on the seals and the offering of offerings or the presentation of figures through the secondary God, and was characterized by its importance in clarifying the technical aspect of each era and give it a special character. As depicted by God and its symbols, as well as legends and composite animals and give a picture of the animals and the artistic style carried out by these scenes to show the important details and accurate in the scene, such as clothing and other personalities and crowns and headdresses, belts, weapons and others.
