The Degree of Application the International Professional Standards by the Teachers of the First Three Basic Grades from their Own Point of View in the North-West Badia District in Mafraq Governorate

Abstract

This study aims at identifying the degree of application of the International Professional Standards by the teachers of the first three basic grades from their own point of view in the North-West Badia District in Mafraq Governorate. To achieve the objective of the study, a questionnaire was developed consisting of (36) paragraphs divided into six areas. The study sample consisted of (130) teachers of the first three basic grades in the public schools of the Education Directorate of the North-West Badia District in Mafraq Governorate. The results of the study showed that the overall degree of application of the International Professional Standards by the teachers of the first three basic grades from their own point of view in the North-West Badia District in Mafraq governorate was significant. The degree of the application has been very significant in terms of planning for teaching, understanding and organizing the content of student learning, creating an effective learning environment, and has been significant in terms of involvement and support of student learning, and also has been medium in both student learning assessment and professional growth. The results showed that there were statistically significant differences due to the sex variable and were in favour of (females). The results did not show statistically significant differences due to years of experience.
