Analysis of Intertextuality in the Poetry of Ahmed Dahbour

Abstract

Intertextuality is considered one of the most important literatural techniques used by modern poets.This research concentrates on a type of intertextuality called the Qoranic intertextuality which is the situation of overlapping between the poetic text and Qoranic verses. In this regards a theoretical instruction is given about the terms and patterns of this modern significant technique and the researcher sets out to analyse the poems by the famous Ahmed Dahbour according to intertextuality rules and methods.Ahmed Dahbour is one the foremost poets in the Palestine. His artworks are published extensively for the professional followers nationally and internationally. In addition to his political background he is largely followed by the people who feel the enthusiasm inside their hearts for the truth and defending Felestini people.
