Evaluation of the level of achievement of students of the Department of Geography at the Faculty of Basic Education, Mustansiriya University in the general Arabic language

Abstract

The current research aims to:Evaluation of the level of achievement of students of the Department of Geography at the Faculty of Basic Education, Mustansiriya University in the General Arabic Language.To achieve the goal of the research, the researcher put the following questions:1- What is the level of achievement of students of the Department of Geography in the general Arabic language in the Faculty of Basic Education / University of Mustansiriya.Are there statistically significant differences in the level of achievement of the general Arabic language for the students of the Department of Geography due to the gender variable?The study sample reached (80) students from the third stage in the geography department in the Faculty of Basic Education / Mustansiriya University, with (38) students and (42) students.The researcher prepared a collection test consisting of (70) multi-type test, filling blanks, health and error, and after extracting his virtual honesty was applied to a sample survey to measure the level of difficulty and force discrimination and effectiveness of alternatives and then find stability, The results were statistically analyzed using the T-Test:1- The level of achievement of the students of the geography department in the general Arabic language has been twice as high. The average grade of students in the achievement test is 46%, which is less than the minimum success rate.2- There is no difference in the evaluation of the level of the weak and acceptable level between students and students of the research sample at the level of significance (05, 0).3- There is a difference in the assessment of the level of the average between students and students of the sample research at the level of significance (05, 0) and for the benefit of female students.4- A good estimate was obtained by two students from the research sample and no student from the research sample received it, while no values were shown in the correction of the test for the very good level or excellence for all students in the research sample.In light of the results of the research, the researcher reached several conclusions and made recommendations and suggestions.
