The Relationship Of Some Motor And Physical Abilities With Scoring Types in Basketball School Leagues Aged 16 – 17 Years Old

Abstract

The importance of the research lies in motor and physical abilities as indicators for scoring performance in basketball from standing position and from moving position. The problem of the research lies in answering the following question: do physical and motor abilities affect the performance of different types of scoring in basketball ? The research aimed at identifying the most important physical and motor abilities as well as types of scoring in basketball and identifying the relationship among variables in basketball. The researcher used the descriptive method. The subjects were (72) player from school basketball league. The data was collected and treated using proper statistical operation to conclude that there is a significant statistical relationship between physical and motor abilities and scoring types.
