Abstract
Abstract: Letters of literary writers consider one of the old prose arts which has an impact on the receiver and changing direction or shake his/her convictions. The closest approach to study that type of messages is by using the pragmatic one which is based on the achieving and socializing impact of language. This present study is an attempt to study act verbs in both types both simple and complex in the letters of the writers to the caliphs, ministers and princes and a statement of its role in communication between the speaker and receiver.
