Significance of Egyptian Archives for Writing the History of the Gulf and the Arabian Peninsula in the First Half of the 19th Century

Abstract

This study aims at highlighting the documents of the Egyptian Archives inthe first half of the 19th century. This is to clarify how important they are forwriting the history of Arabs in General and the history of the Arabian Peninsula inparticular. This study does not aim at reviewing the contents of the archives, as thatneeds writing books not a mere study.
