التغيرات المناخية واثارها على انخفاض الواردات المائية في العراق وسبل معالجتها باستخدام تقانات الري الحديثة

Abstract

AbstractClimate change and its effects on the decline of water imports in Iraq and ways to address them using modern irrigation technologies Water is an important natural resource in countries with desert and semi-desert climates such as Iraq because it controls the distribution of the population and their economic activities, especially agriculture, which is one of the most important pillars of food security and national security. The decline in rainfall, which led to the lack of water surplus and thus the low level of water runoff and the low water revenues of the tributaries that feed the Tigris and Euphrates in the sources of rivers in neighboring countries (Turkey, Syria, Iran) as a result of the changes in climate in the region, And the fact that these climate changes have encouraged these countries to build dams and reservoirs to ensure their water future, which was the victim of Iraq, which exacerbated the drought that has been going through Iraq since the last two decades Drought has increased at present for several reasons, including natural and human. In this study we will address the natural aspect of climate change in the world in general and Iraq and the region in particular .
