Evaluation of the Program of Practical Education for Students of the Department of Quranic Sciences from the Point of View of Teaching in Light of the Exercise of Educational Competencies

Abstract

This research aimed to assess the teaching practice program submitted to the student at the department of Quranic Sciences from teachers point of view . The sample consisted of teachers at the Dept. of Quranic sciences college of Education for Humanities, University of Mosul for the academic year 20172018. To obtain this aim, the researchers prepared a questionnaire of 49 items distributed among 8 educational competencies. The researchers tested its validity and reliability. After applying data statistically by using Z test for percentages to one sample, the results showed that:1)The teaching practice program for students at the Dept. .Quranic sciences ,has gained good marks in practicing educational competencies , from teachers point of view.2) There was a significant statistical difference between the obtained percentage of social relations competence, from teachers' point of view, and the standard percentage (70%) and for the benefit of the obtained percentage.3) There was not any significant statistical difference between the obtained percentages of ( planning, classroom management , teaching occupation ,and evaluation) competencies and the total percentage and standard percentage(70%) .In the light of that results ,the researchers set number of conclusions and recommendations in addition to number of titles for future studies
