Test the growth and yield of promising genetic structures of bread wheat Triticum asetivum L.(Entered from Russia) under the conditions of the southern region of Iraq

Abstract

Three genotypes of soft wheat from Russia, as well as the comparison class IBA 99, were tested for grain yield and some of the traits contributing to it under the southern region of Iraq and in two environmental sites (Nasiriyah and Samawah) (Plant height, paper area, spike length, number of branches, number of spikes per square meter, number of grains in spike, 1000-grain weight, protein ratio, and grain yieldThe results of the analysis of the common variance revealed significant differences between the genotypes and the studied sites and the overlap between them in most studied traits. Based on the overlap of the grain yield with the studied site, the composition of the ROSEE3 was higher with an average of 9.04 tons / When the same composition (ROSEE3) achieved the lowest average yield of 3.45 tons / h in the second site (Samawah), indicating the effect of the site clearly to show the genetic capacity of the cultivated structuresThe correlation analysis also showed the importance of the weight of 1000 tablets in the first position (Nasiriyah) for their positive correlation with the grain content and the number of grains in the spike in the second location (Samawah) for their positive correlation with the grain yield. As an electoral function according to the environmental conditions of each study site.
