Abstract This study aims at following up with the subject of the Turkish attitude towards the Kurdish issue after the establishment of the republic, passing through the present situation and trying to identify the future horizons, within the hypothesis that dealing with the Kurdish issue in Turkey has been subject to many interactions during the modern and contemporary history in which the religious factor played an important role In some stages, while nationalism played a big role in the Kurdish dealing with national rights, especially after the establishment of the Republic, then the armed activities, as well as international and regional interventions that gave the issue a broader and more comprehensive dimension, which puts the future of this issue subject to regional political settlements , with the Turkish state retaining its prevalent position, in return for the Kurds to obtain some political and cultural privileges.
