Narration Traits in Namr Bin Tulib's Poetry

Abstract

Namr bin Tulib's poetry can be characterized by narrative style. Narration traces can easily be seen here and there in his verses, which involves a lot of narrated tales interweaved in a poetic build. The narrative structure of his verses encompasses many of the narrative elements such as time, place, characters, action, narrator and dialogue. Eventually, the skillful manipulation of all these elements by the poet forms the poet's imprint that distinguishes and gives character to his poems.
