Abstract

The research aimed to identify the public relations department of the Ministry of Health in the Ministry of Health and Environment through the "Facebook" of the health crisis during the spread of the virus (Covid 19), which appeared in China and spread in Iraq and the origin of a global epidemic, as public relations employed its communication methods to manage the crisis through the official website The Ministry has on Facebook to limit the spread of the epidemic and establish ongoing contacts between the Ministry and its target audience.The researcher used the survey method and the tools of scientific observation and content analysis, and reached the most prominent results :Public relations has a role in managing the health crisis, and I have made communicative efforts to direct communication messages to the public through the diversity of media contents and their extensive use at the height of the crisis. To deal with credibility with the public, provide it with daily news and epidemiological stances, and inform it of the developments of the crisis, refute the rumors that accompanied the peak of the crisis, and ensure non-contradiction and provoke chaos and panic among the public.
