Mobile phone use in the hospitality industry - a field study

Abstract

The aims of this study is to examine the customers intentions to download mobile applications in the hospitality . industry , The Technology Acceptance Model has been applied this research to explain customer intentions . The target population of this study is College students . Multiple linear regression analysis, exploratory factor analysis have been employed to test the hypotheses of the study . Though major hospitality companies offer mobile applications, more than half of respondents have responded that they have not used mobile applications from the hospitality firms . In addition , The results have shown what encouraged customers to download mobile applications in the hospitality industry
