EFFECT OF DIET SUPPLEMENTATION WITH PUTRESCINE ON SOME BIOCHEMISTRY AND HISTOLOGICAL CHARACTERS OF BROILER INTESTINE

Abstract

This study was conducted in the poultry field Animal Production Department, College of Agriculture, Al-Qasim green University, Babylon Province. The present study were aimed to evaluate the effect of diet supplementation with Putrescine on some biochemical and histological charaters in Broiler intestene , A total of 270 one day old Ross 308 broiler chicks were randomly allocated into six dietary experimental groups , Chicks in T1 group were fed on standard broiler diet as control. Chicks in T2 , T3 , T4 , T5 , T6 were fed on standard broiler diets supplemented with 0.015 , 0.030 , 0.045 , 0.060 , 0.075 % putrescine respectively. The data showed that diet supplementation were significantly (P<0.05) increased blood serum sugar, and decreased serum cholesterol and triglyceride. Putrescine supplementation to broiler diets were significantly (P <0.05) increased villi length and crypts depth in duodenum and jejunum of broiler chicks.
