The Extent of Support that provided by the Method of Teaching of Social Studies ( Geography & History) Material for Teaching Skills that is necessary for Teaching Applications from Students' Point of View

Abstract

Abstract: The current study aims to view the extent support that provided by the method of teaching of social studies (Geography & History) materials for teaching skills that are necessary for teaching applications from students' point of view. To achieve this, the researcher uses the descriptive method, with open questioner consists of (38) paragraph, distributed in three fields ( lesson planning, lesson application, lesson evaluation). The researcher has viewed the study to several experts and arbitrators, which proved the honesty and reliability of the study. The researcher puts in front of each paragraph three choices ( strongly agree, undecided, do not agree), the volunteers of the study were (291) students from College of Education, for the year (2019-2020), after the application of the study, collect the result and statistically analyze it, the researcher reaches a punch or results that relate to lesson planning, the paragraph assures that most of the students find teaching materials do not support teaching planning according to new methods. The results that relate to lesson applications show that social studies ( geography & history) material do not support teaching skills that relate to class management. While the results that relate to lesson evaluation view that most students are unable to determine the level of students to put a program develop the level of achievements, therefore, the researcher recommended certain issues included a requirement for the responsible committee of teaching materials forming.
