Abstract

The research aims to identify:1.Positive academic emotions among postgraduate students.2.Statistical differences in positive academic emotions according to the variables of the study type (Master - Doctorate), gender (male - female) and specialization (scientific – humanity).To achieve the goals of the research, the researcher followed the scientific steps adopted in psychological measurement in building the three research standards. The researcher has verified the psychometric properties of the scales from validity and consistency. The standards were After completing the construction of the research criteria, it was applied to the final research sample of (500) male and female students chosen in the same way and the previous method distributed according to (study type, gender, specialization) for the academic year (2018-2019). The data was statistically processed using the Statistical Package for the Humanities (SPSS), and the following are the results of the research:1.Postgraduate students enjoy positive academic feelings and to a great degree.2.There are statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05), according to the variables of the study type and the difference was in favor of the masters, gender and the difference was in favor of females, and the specialization was in favor of the humanity specialization.3.There are no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05), according to the interaction of the type of study with sex, as well as the absence of differences in the interaction of the type of study with the specialization, but there are statistically significant differences in the interaction of sex with the specialization and the difference was significant for females of the humanity specialization.4.Postgraduate students have excessive perceptions about their scientific capabilities and capabilities.
