Obstacles of international Sanctions application

Abstract

The most important issues of international law are not so much its rules as the application of its provisions to all cases of its application, but to all parties, but this prevents practical legal, regulatory and practical obstacles. The obstacles to the application of international sanctions may be in the form of restraints that prevent the application or approval of international sanctions against a State that has violated the rules of international peace and security. It may be in the form of resolutions under international sanctions under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations on situations that are not violations of the rules of peace and security (Article39). And may be in the form of violations of the rules of international legitimacy as defined by the founders of the provisions of the Charter of the United Nations, in the name of international sanctions or under cover, so it can be said that there are obstacles stand in front of the exercise of the Security Council's penal powers towards States that violate the rules of international peace and security.
