The predictive value of dermatology in terms of educational level and health behavior of Athletes in Babel Governorate

Abstract

The research aims to identify the predictive value of dermatology in terms of the educational level and health behavior of the athlete of Babel Governorate. The researcher hypothesized the possibility of predicting skin diseases in terms of the educational level and health behavior of the athlete of Babel governorate. To achieve the research objectives , the researcher used several tools to collect data such as questionnaire , medical examination and means of data processing . The researcher obtained the following results : There are a limited number of common skin diseases among athletes that can be classified into three disease groups: mechanical injuries, inflammatory diseases, and exacerbation of some skin diseases due to sports exercise. - Inflammatory diseases were the most common group of skin diseases -Mechanical injuries are more prevalent in games where weights and devices are used, while inflammatory diseases are common in games with direct contact with players. -The increase in the occurrence of mechanical injuries with age and the decrease in inflammatory diseases with the increase in the cultural level.
