Phonetic study of the Book The Syntactic Development of Arabic by the German orientalist Bregschtrasser

Abstract

The orientalists have studied Arabic accurately trying to tackle all the aspects. They introduce valuable researches and books in the study of Arabic in all branches. The German orientalist Bregschtrasser was the pioneer of those orientalists who studied in his The Syntactic Development of Arabic. He had left a great impact on the study of phonetics, inflection, and syntactic. The first section is devoted to the study of articulation, characteristics, and phonetic formulation.This study tackles the definition of the book, which is divided into inquiries: the first inquiry tackles the articulation and characteristics, and the second deals with the issues of phonetic formulation which are assimilation, resemblance, and contradiction.
