Readiness of e-Governance in The Southern of Directorate General of Electric Distribution

Abstract

This research aims to determine the extent of applying the readiness of e-governance in the southern of Directorate General of Electricity Distribution and to identify the most important indicators of readiness of e-governance, this research depends on the case study method to investigate the reality of applying the e-governance in the southern Directorate General of electricity distribution. Different tools of scientific research have been used in the practical aspect of the study to reach the desired results, including the conduct of interviews with the decision maker and the field visits to the Directorate, as well as viewing the relevant official documents and design checklist to collect necessary data to determine the current reality of the Directorate ,and used Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and fuzzy hierarchical analysis (F-AHP) to identify the most important indicator (Readiness to Directorate), which requires focusing on them and available to the purpose of implementing e-governance. The research found a number of conclusions, the Director ateready partially to implement e-governance, and human resource index has a greater relative importance to implement e-governance.
