The effect of knowing both sides of speech on the understanding and interpretation of literary texts

Abstract

Praise be to Allah، Lord of the worlds، and may the blessings and peace be upon the master of messengers and his family and companions. This research is tagged with (the effect of knowledge of the two sides of speech on the understanding of literary texts and their interpretation). This research attempts at studying Arab scholia in the light of one of the theories of modern linguistics, which is the contextual theory that is considered as one of the most famous modern linguistic schools that can be applied to the texts creative. The researcher chose the scholia as an area of application, because of the ambiguity of these scholia at times, and the lack of correlation between them and the request submitted at other times, which requires reference to the social context that produced them in order to understand them better. The lack of research and studies that have taken modern linguistic studies as an approach to study scholia, especially those that have taken the context of the case as their approach, and here lies the importance of the study over others in applying this approach to signatures in an analytical manner. focusing on knowing the element see the context of the active case (speaking and addressing) in understanding and interpreting literary texts
