The Effect of CROSS FIT Exercises on Developing the Performance of some Offensive Skills of Basketball Players at Ages (17-18) Years

Abstract

The progress achieved in the field of sports and the selection of appropriate training methods are among the factors that are given great importance in modern sports training, and among these training methods are the CROSS FIT exercises, which is a method that increases the individual’s physical fitness and increases the strength of the body’s muscles. And the research problem is that there is a decrease in the level of offensive skills of basketball players in the fourth game, which the researcher attributes to a decrease in some offensive skills of basketball players, which negatively affects the performance of offensive skills The research aims to prepare exercises in a CROSS FIT method for basketball players (17-18) years old and to identify the effect of exercises in a style of CROSS FIT on some offensive skills of basketball players at the ages of (17-18) years. The researcher used the experimental method in a one-group method, and it was conducted on the players of the National Center for the Care of Sports Talent. Pre and post tests were conducted for the research variables, and the training units continued from 12/13/2020 until 2/7/2021 The researcher concluded that the CROSS FIT stomach exercises have proven their importance and role in the sports side and the exercises in the CROSS FIT method have brought about an improvement in the offensive skills of the players of the National Center for the Care of Sports Talent in Basketball. The researcher recommends that the use of exercises prepared by the researcher and the supervisor in the curriculum of the National Center for Sports Talent Care for Basketball and work on developing offensive skills because they have an effective role in the numbers of the National Center for Sports Talent Nurturing.
