Abstract
The topic of the research is madness in Shakespeare's "Hamlet" .Which represents an aspect of the moral drama that was reflected in his literary work .The research reveals the truth about Hamlet's madness, and the nature of his psychological struggle, as well as showing the reasons that prompted Hamlet to act in this way. The paper is divided into three sections, the first section talks about Shakespeare’s life, and his career. The second talks about the topic of madness, the types of madness, and discussing the opinions of critics in the causes of Hamlet's madness, the third section is an applied study of the topic of madness in Hamlet's play
