Abstract

Baghdida is considered one of the oldest and most important towns in the Nineveh Plains, which included a historical legacy that reflected its Aramaic-Syriac cultural identity and affiliation. for all its citizens. Hence, we aim to study the historical dimensions of the Pope’s journey to the town, as it is considered one of the leading and important studies in history. The historical dimension is important, as it bears a civilized interaction and contains a cultural heritage in various aspects of material, intellectual and moral life, and with all that the human mind has produced, it reflects the values And the meanings and indicates its authenticity and national identity.
