Abstract

AbstractThe research aims to define the concept of crime in its both general and specific types. It also aims at defining Surat Hud with the explanation of its embodied virtues. Furthermore, the study tackled and defined some criminals who are mentioned in Surat Lot such as: the people of Noah, the people of Hud, the people of Saleh, the people of Lot, and the people of Shuaib. Moreover, the study discussed ten of the methods that the criminals used in denying their messengers (prophets). These are: Mockery, ridicule, humanity, following the weak, following without reason, lack of virtue, accusation of lying, hasty torment, invoking lack of argument and proof, accusation of insanity and madness, and doubt.
