International responsibility arising from the use of chemical weapons

Abstract

The topic of the research dealt with the basis of international responsibility for the use of chemical weapons، as well as the position of jurisprudence and law on the one hand، in addition to presenting the problematic development of the establishment of responsibility and the overlap of its legal rules with national rules on the one hand، and international and regional rules on the other hand. As well as research into the difference in the jurisprudence and agreement regarding what the jurisprudence of international law has differed on about the international personality and the extent to which it is directly subject to this law. And also the search for the origin of the international responsibility that arises from the wrong act of the state and this wrong act constitutes a violation of an international obligation against another country. Therefore، we explained the nature of chemical weapons،their types and effects، and the position of international law on the use of chemical weapons in light of international and regional agreements، while we discussed the concept of international responsibility and the forms of the use of chemical weapons with an indication of their legal nature and legal development. They ended with highlighting the most important results and recommendations.
