Patterns of Hemispheric Dominance Accompanied by Mental Training and its Relationship to the Performance the Dribbling of the Basketball Skill of Female Students of Physical Education and Sports Sciences

Abstract

Identifying the dominant brain pattern of the research sample members. And to identify the level of the research sample members in the performance of the basketball skill, and also to identify the relationship between the dominant brain pattern accompanied by mental training and the performance of the basketball skill, and finally to identify the differences between the performance of the basketball skill between the two dominant patterns accompanied by mental training. The researcher used the descriptive approach with correlational relations to suit the nature of the study. The sample was represented by the female students of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for the year 2021-2022, whose number is (30) students, who were chosen randomly (lots). The researcher used the Torrens scale and the performance test for the skill of tapping in basketball, and the results were treated statistically using the statistical bag (spss). The researcher concluded that (10) of the research sample appeared using the right side and (6) of the students used the left side. Also, there were no members of the research sample who used the integration pattern, and there is a significant correlation between the patterns of brain dominance accompanied by mental training and the performance of the students with the skill of tapping a ball. cart. The researcher recommended paying attention to educational curricula and teaching methods in a way that suits all learners in terms of the dominant half of the brain and the need to pay attention to patterns of brain dominance and take into account the use of the dominant pattern in learning and the need to use mental training, especially with the variables related to mental processes and conducting a similar study that includes other skills and various games sports.mental process.
