The Year of Delegates in the Book of Interpretation of Bahr al-Ulum by al-Samarkandi (d. 4 AH/10 AD)

Abstract

The ninth year of migration was called the year of delegations, due to the large number of delegations that came to Medina, declaring their conversion to the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Which was presented to the Messenger Muhammad (PBUH) because of its great importance in the events of the biography, and the most prominent of these delegations was a Thaqif delegation. Medina in that year, due to its position among the Arab tribes.
