The impact of information security on digital education An exploratory study in some formations of the Northern Technical University (Technical Institute/Mosul and Ninevea)

Abstract

The research aims to identify the impact of information security on digital education. The study community included some formations of the Northern Technical University represented by (Technical Institute / Mosul and Technical Institute/Nineveh) and the study sample included (heads of departments and officials of units) which enables the researched organization to enhance digital education by using information security in its work. The researcher used the SPSS program and used a number of statistical methods, including (frequencies, percentages, arithmetic means, multiple regression, arithmetic means) to analyze the data collected using the questionnaire for the purpose of reaching the results of the relationships between the variables. As well as verifying the validity of the hypotheses, and after analyzing the data were the most prominent result achieved: It was found that there is a correlation and a significant effect between the information security variable and the digital education variable and its dimensions. Accordingly, the most important recommendations were presented: That digital education systems be developed using safety methods and internationally recognized standards.
