Iraqi-Kuwaiti relations in light of the challenges of the regional variable after 2003 *

Abstract

When studying the phenomenon of international relations for any two parties or several parties in the international community, the theory of (David Easton) on international relations can be applied, which states the influence of internal factors and external factors as needs and requirements in the inputs in political decisionmaking and the extent of their impact on the external decisions of countries as a response in the outputs, so These factors directly and negatively affected most of the decisions taken by the Kuwaiti foreign political decision-maker towards Iraq and vice versa, and during the two eras before and after the fall of the political regime in Iraq after 2003.This influence led to the faltering of relations for decades, characterized by conditional cooperation or closure, complexity and estrangement between the two countries. And this policy created a door for some differences, which date back to the thirties of the last century, when Iraq began preparing for its independence and arranging its internal papers to enter the League of Nations, which required it to demarcate its borders.
