The role of the educational administration in activating the physical education lesson and developing leadership skills among physical education teachers in the Basic stage
Abstract
The research aimed to know the role of the educational administration in activating the physical education lesson and developing the leadership skills of physical education teachers in the basic stage from the point of view of sports teachers in Dohuk governorate. The sample consisted of (438) male and female sports teachers, (335) males and (103) females, distributed among 10 directorates of education in Dohuk governorate. The research adopted the descriptive survey method and the questionnaire for the purpose of collecting data, and the data were treated statistically using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS). The results showed that the role of the educational administration in activating the lesson of sports and developing leadership skills in general is high, that is, positive from the point of view of sports teachers. It was found that there were no statistically significant differences in the role of educational administration in activating the lesson of sports and the development of leadership skills from the viewpoint of sports teachers according to the variables of age and gender, while the results showed that there were statistically significant differences in the views of sports teachers due to the variable of educational qualification. In light of the results, a number of recommendations and suggestions were presented
